Fresh Face: Bonafide Media

I want to give a huge thank you to Josh, the Founder of Bona Fide Media, for giving me a complimntary photoshoot in exchange for this article on my blog. He is a very talented photographer, and I want to inform you guys about his various talents and services in video and photo.

BIO

My name is Josh Jones and I’m a Chicago based media creator. I grew up just outside of Columbus, Ohio and was obsessed with watching movies. My sister is the one who got me into them and one day we decided to make a video together when I was around 10 years old. It was a stupid little kung-fu movie, but after that I was hooked! I started making videos with my friends and for school projects, loving every minute of it. In High School I started getting real gigs and had some of my first jobs then. Since, I’ve been constantly making videos and taking pictures, both for fun and for pay. I’ve mostly worked under other people and was finding it hard to truly express the ideas I had. A lot of creative resistance can come when you have a boss, so I decided to fix that problem and become my own boss. That’s where Bona Fide Media came along, the video production company I now run. I specialize in music videos and short films, striving to make the most authentic and raw content I can. I’ve loved every second.

Bona Fide Media is a media production company located in Chicago and founded by Josh Jones (see photo on the left). We do everything from corporate videos and commercials to music videos and portrait photography. We are experts in all areas of media.

Our mission is to tell your story visually in an authentic and genuine way. The world is filling up with too much superficial and fake content so our team is willing to put in the extra effort to ensure your ideas are presented in the best way possible.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Calynn, 20x Award Winning businesswoman, media personality and former pageant queen (Miss United States Universe Tourism 2021, Miss World America Nation 2020).
