Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! I'm Calynn, 20x Award Winning businesswoman, media personality and former pageant queen (Miss United States Universe Tourism 2021, Miss World America Nation 2020). I started this blog when I was barely 15 years old in January 2011 as a supplement to my application to the retail business internship at the downtown Chicago Nordstrom mall! I stayed there for 3 years learning the fundamentals of everything fashion business from sales and marketing to media and modeling. This was a phenomenal foundation to my career as it gave me the rudimentary knowledge and competitive edge that I needed to be successful!  From there, I went on to college and obtained my first degree in Business and Humanities (the arts and social sciences). Scholarship Fundraiser Gala, Accomplishing Big Things in Business, Chicago Fashion Week, Broadway Escapades and more!

Hey guys! It's been a busy last few months and I have so much to share! Let's get into it. BEING A SPONSOR AT A BLACK NURSING SCHOLARSHIP FUNDRAISER   My aunt, Dr. Thomas, is a member of the Lambda Pi Alpha black nursing sorority 💜💜. I was honored to attend, alongside my parents and other family, their 90th anniversary scholarship fundraiser gala to commemorate all of the community service that they've done as a black women led organization, trying to uplift other women of color within healthcare! My aunt gave a brief speech reviewing their 5-figure scholarship amounts that would be bridging the gap between young low income minority women and a career in nursing. I was also very happy to get the chance to be a program book sponsor to support a great cause and promote my firm, The Calynn Communications & Creative corporation .  Hi guys! I hope you've been well :) Thanks for coming back to my blog to see my latest adventures in life. In true Calynn fashion, it's been a while since I've last posted. This was all of our first cruise and it was a phenomenal experience aside from being absolutely WIPED by the end of it. Hey Guys! Thanks for checking in! I hope you've been well :) Do I have quite the update for you all! I know, I know. My failure to regularly post on my old faithful blog has gotten out of control.
